This Privacy Policy applies to the Jigsaw Puzzles mobile application, related websites, and services (collectively, the "Services"). It explains how we, PlayJigsaw ("we", "us", "our"), collect, use, secure, and disclose your personal information when you use our Services.

By accessing or using our Services, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with any terms of this policy, please do not use the Services.

1. Information We Collect and How

While using our Services, we may process certain personal data or personal information that can be used to identify you ("Personal Data"). For app store specific information, you can also view our app's privacy labels in the Apple App Store and the Data Safety section in Google Play.

The Personal Data we process includes:

• Basic Identifiers: Mobile device IDs, advertising identifiers (such as Apple's IDFA or Google's AAID), internal User IDs, and your IP address.
• Commercial Information: History of in-app purchases, purchase tokens, subscription state, and purchase timestamps. We do not store or process payment card details.
• Device Information: Device type, model, operating system and version, screen resolution, app version, language settings, time zone, connection type, and network speed signals.
• Usage Information: Date and time of app launches, features used, levels completed, puzzle progress, game settings, and your interactions with advertisements.
• Diagnostics: Performance metrics including crash logs, launch times, and battery/CPU usage details.
• Location Information: General location (country and region/state level) derived automatically from your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location.
• Media and Other Files: If you use the optional custom photo puzzle feature, the app will request access to your device's photo gallery or camera. Photos are processed strictly on-device to build the puzzle and are never sent to our servers unless you explicitly submit an image to support.
• Contact Information: Your name, username, and email address if you contact us directly via email or our support channel.

2. Sources of Data

We obtain information from different sources depending on how you interact with our Services:

• Directly from You: When you send support requests, register an account, or send inquiries to us via contact@playjigsaw.net.
• Automatically Collected: Mobile identifiers, gameplay metrics, and device diagnostics are collected automatically through SDKs when you play.
• From App Stores: The Apple App Store and Google Play Store share installation records, purchase records, and aggregated demographical indicators (such as age range) with us.
• From Third-Party Service Providers: Advertising networks and analytics companies provide aggregated tracking information, campaign parameters, and ad metrics.

3. Purposes for Which We Use Personal Data

We process your Personal Data based on legal grounds, including contract performance, legitimate interests, or your consent, for the following purposes:

Service Provision and Maintenance

We process data to deliver the basic game functionalities, maintain your level history and puzzle progress across sessions, support features, and manage in-app purchases as per our End User License Agreement.

Syncing and Backup

With your permission, we use third-party platforms like Apple Game Center and Google Play Games to securely sync and backup your puzzle progress across multiple devices.

Analytics

We analyze game performance and player behavior using Google Analytics and Firebase to find and fix bugs, optimize difficulty curves, and build new content. Where legally required, we ask for your explicit consent before enabling third-party analytics cookies or SDK tracking.

Personalized Advertisements

We show ads to keep our Services free. We work with third-party networks (primarily Google AdMob) to serve targeted advertisements that match your interests. We use Consent Management Platforms (CMP) to get and manage consent for ad personalization in Europe, Brazil, and other regulated areas.

4. Data Retention

We retain your Personal Data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. Generally, Personal Data is kept for a maximum of five (5) years from the date of your last interaction with our Services, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (for tax, legal, or compliance reasons).

Once data is deleted or anonymized, it cannot be recovered, and rights to access or request deletion of such data will be unavailable.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share Personal Data with third parties for the following business purposes:

• Service Providers & Processors: We share data with hosting platforms (e.g. Cloudflare, AWS), analytics tools (e.g. Firebase), and customer support services. They are bound by contract to keep your data confidential and only process it for operational business purposes.
• Advertising Networks: In-app ad partners receive device identifiers and campaign parameters to serve and optimize ads. For details on these partners, please see our Third-Party Partners list.
• Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions: In case of restructure, sale, or acquisition, data may be transferred to the new owner under strict confidentiality safeguards.
• Legal Mandates: We will disclose data if required by subpoenas, court orders, or other legal proceedings, or to protect the safety and rights of PlayJigsaw, our users, or others.

6. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Our operations require data transfers to servers located globally, including outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom. When transferring data outside the EEA/UK, we verify that the destination country has an adequacy decision, or we use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) approved by the European Commission to guarantee equivalent levels of data protection.

7. Age Limits

Our Services are intended for a general audience and are not designed for children under 16. We rely on age verification signals from app stores to restrict data collection when a user is flagged as minor. If we detect a user is below 16 (or higher under local laws), we apply protective measures such as turning off ad personalization (contextual ads only), disabling tracking, and deleting any existing personal data from our servers.

8. External Links

Our Services may contain links to websites or external apps not owned or controlled by us. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit. We are not responsible for the content, privacy rules, or safety of external websites.

9. Your Rights and Options (GDPR)

Under the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights regarding your Personal Data:

• Right to Access: You can request a copy of all Personal Data we hold about you.
• Right to Rectification: You can ask us to correct incorrect or incomplete details.

• Right to Know & Access: Confirm if we process your data and get a copy of the specific categories of information collected over the past 12 months.
• Right to Delete: Request deletion of collected personal information, subject to exceptions.
• Right to Correct: Request that we correct inaccurate details.
• Right to Opt-Out: Opt-out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal data for targeted behavioral ads. Since we use Google AdMob for targeted ads, this transfer may count as a "sale/sharing" under California law.
• Non-Discrimination: We will never discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

11. How to Exercise Your Privacy Rights

To exercise any of your rights (such as data access or deletion), please contact us via email at contact@playjigsaw.net. In your request, please state the app name ("Jigsaw Puzzles") and include your User ID (which can be found in the app Settings page) to help us locate your data.

For iOS Device Settings:

1. Go to Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Tracking.
2. Toggle off "Allow Apps to Request to Track" or disable tracking specifically for the Jigsaw Puzzles app.

For Android Device Settings:

1. Go to Settings -> Privacy or Google -> Ads.
2. Tap Delete Advertising ID or Reset Advertising ID.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to align with legal or feature updates. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
